The Tofino Swell Lodge, situated on the picturesque working harbour of Tofino in Clayoquot Sound, is a laid back jewel that should not be missed. Traditional lodge style hospitality is extended to every guest by Betsy Buhtz and Chris Barker. The Swell Lodge is perfect for private group bookings, individuals or couples travelling together. The location is a 10 minute walk to town where you will find everything you need for an amazing stay.

There are seven private guest rooms encircling the Lodge, with capacity for 14 guests. The main living and kitchen area offer a sociable environment to cook meals, play board games, mingle, and make new friends. Enjoy a quiet afternoon in front of the large picture windows soaking in the view with a good book or head outside to take in the gardens. The kitchen fully equipped with everything you need to make a five-course meal and complimentary tea and coffee are provided.

Your hosts live on the property and are around most of the time, so if there’s anything you need, just ask!

Group Bookings

Reserve the entire lodge for private groups of up to 14 people. This all-access pass allows you to enjoy the entire property with just your closest friends or family. Enjoy the spacious common areas for group activities or retreat to your own private rooms for some quiet time. Each room can accommodate two persons comfortably.
